I am Italian and I didn't have the chance to meet Professor Jim, but I'm following Jamie's career since the beginning and I am proud of him (I could be his mother for my age) and I learnt to love him and his family. So, when I read the sad news, I felt like I've lost my own father (wich I did 15 months ago) and I only want to be here to send all my love to Jamie and his whole family and send to Professor Jim all my prayers, R.I.P. - A big hugh with all my heart.

Jim delivered our daughter Martha safely almost 17 years ago. I had sadly experienced a stillbirth & 5 consecutive miscarriages prior to that happy delivery. Jim instilled a confidence in me that I will never ever forget. He was a truly amazing man who lived a brilliant life. Sincere condolences to his family and to Samina x
